I will defend Marissa Cooper to the fucking death. (no pun intended o.0)

But I love her. I don’t think I’ve ever loved a fictional character more. Well, no, I’ve loved other characters more, but I’ve never felt for them the way I sympathized with Marissa. Like idk I’ve never wanted a character to end up happy more than I did with Marissa. And it physically hurts to see so much hate on her. 

I think that’s why I hate season 4 so much. Not only because it wasn’t the same without her, but it was a fucking insult to her memory. From Taylor replacing her in every aspect in her life to the characters forgetting her in three episodes to barely mentioning her in the finale…. such a crucial character has never been so disrespected in a tv series. Just ugh.
